  • Approved July 13th 2017 minutes
  • Approved Sept 9th 2017 minutes
  • Special improvement district update 
    • Network infrastructure and Broadband now have a pathway to get up here if we are ever interested.  The cost is likely not appealing to the community as a whole. This would be an assessment and added to property tax after a vote. 
  • Election
    • Craig elected as the final tie breaker

New Business/Updates

  • Appointment of officers  
    • President – John Bottomley
    • VP – Dave Gallaher
    • Secretary – Courtney Donovan
    • Treasurer – Tina DePoyster
    • Web Master (unofficially official) – Curtis DePoysterJohn Bottomly – President
  • Community clean-up day – Heather will organize for June 9th 9:00-12:00 meet at firehouse at 8:30
    • Gatorade, water, snacks, coffee and breakfast then lunch and provide contractor garbage bags - $150.00
    • Estimate for trash removal $350.00
    • Motion to approve the estimated $500, seconded, and approved 
  • Annual meeting ideas
    • Chili cook off with everyone bringing sides
    • Band idea was decided to stick to local gulchers and otherwise just hangout time
    • September 8th 12-1 food, 1-2 meeting 
    • Political speeches are discouraged 
  • Fire concerns
    • Code Red – send to cell phone, reverse 911
    • Setting up a parallel system within the HOA wasn’t going to be questioningly effective
    • John suggested Google SMS as an alternative - Curtis and John will figure it out
      • John and others drive around during fire ban to discuss with campers, etc. to aid in putting out fire bans – HOA designed and backed
  • HOA purpose/direction
    • Collect dues, support in emergency situations
    • Host annual BBQ and get together
    • Managing real estate knowledge of the HOA
    • Mission statement/purpose: Pay the forest service permits
    • Right now there are no other requests for services or need for us to do more.
